Check out the Shenandoah Chamber of Commerce. Shenandoah, Iowa is the small town in southwest Iowa where I grew up amidst fields of corn and soy beans. There are several locally owned businesses and the city's face continues to change as time goes on. Hunting season brings sportsmen from all over the country to test their skill against fowl and game. Summer visitors enjoy various activities in the surrounding area.
My friend John Greenleaf has a blog that provides interesting information about Shenandoah's history and current events. He is an alum from the class of '77.
I presently drive for Koch Trucking out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mostly I haul Onan Generators all around the US with a mixture of general freight thrown in once in a while.
